Community Bank offers video conferencing for community groups

HEATHCOTE & District Community Bank has emphasised the value of community connection.

And that’s why it has been decided the bank will offer the use of a customer’s account with an online meeting platform to connect with all local community groups.

“We know how important it is for everyone in our community to stay safely at their homes at this moment, but equally, it’s also really important that we all continue to feel connected,” Community Bank chairman Stephen Trompp said.

“The meeting platform that we are using will allow our community groups to continue to meet regularly from the comfort and safety of their homes using their computers, tablets or mobiles,” he said.

“People in the meeting can see each other if they choose, hear each other and share images to the group from their screens such as files, presentations, photos etc.”

Mr Trompp said this service is being provided free to all local community groups.

He said the Community Bank would be picking up all the costs associated with the program.
